Junction Facilities

The Junction is an an activity centre and is used on a daily basis. It provides us with a hall for larger activities, as well as a smaller room used for other activities and staff training. The Junction is also where the Steam ‘n’Coffee shop is based.

The Hall:

The main hall is used daily to allow us to provide a range of activities for the service users, from net games, archery, and sensory sessions to bingo, hip hop and much more. The hall is also used for Disco’s held throughout the year, as well as performances by the various drama and performing arts groups. In addition various events are held. Examples include fairs, Art exhibitions and charity events such as Macmillan Coffee morning etc.

Activity Room:

In addition to the hall, where the majority of the larger activities are held, the Junction also has a smaller room used for other activities. A movie club, relaxation & beauty sessions, quizzes, stars in their eyes and other smaller activities. In addition, this room is also used as a developed training room, in which staff regularly undergo the training that is required of them to perform within each of their job roles.

Steam 'n' Coffee Shop:

The Steam 'n' Coffee shop is located within the junction, and is open to everyone, including the general public. The Coffee shop is open from 9:00am until 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
